Information we collect
AI4S DB does not currently offer user accounts and does not ask for names, telephone numbers, or research files. To understand which content is useful, the site records basic events: page views, category clicks, tool-detail views, search queries, searches with no results, and clicks that open an external tool website.
An event may include a randomly generated session identifier, page path, tool or category identifier, search text, result count, and timestamp. The session identifier is stored in the browser’s sessionStorage and is used to distinguish one browsing session; it is not used to build a personal profile.
How information is used
These records are used to improve categories, search, editorial coverage, and database quality. Hosting, database, and network providers may also process IP addresses, browser information, and server logs as part of normal operation and security.
Analytics events are handled by the site and stored in the configured database. AI4S DB does not sell personal information or use search text for personalised advertising.
Do not enter confidential information
Search terms are retained for aggregate analysis. Do not enter unpublished findings, patient information, personal identifiers, passwords, or other confidential material in the search box.
External websites
A “Visit website” link opens a third-party service. That service may operate its own cookies, analytics, and account systems. Review its privacy policy, terms, and research-data practices before use.
Retention, requests, and changes
Data is retained only as needed for MVP analysis and site security, and may be periodically removed. To ask about access, correction, or deletion, contact us at hello@ai4sdb.com. We will respond where the relevant records can reasonably be identified and the request verified. This policy may change as the site and its providers change; the date above will be updated accordingly.
