Where CADIMA fits
CADIMA is used after reproducible searches have been run in external databases. Import RIS records to combine results, inspect duplicates, assign independent screening, resolve conflicts, extract data, and document the process. Fix the protocol and eligibility criteria in advance, retain the original exports, and export project records regularly.

What to evaluate before use
- CADIMA is not a metasearch engine such as PubMed or Scopus and cannot replace a complete search across appropriate databases.
- Deduplication, allocation, and process logs do not validate eligibility criteria or extracted values. Consequential decisions still require human review.
